Q: I'm using AOL and some of your images
look grainy. How can I improve this?
A: AOL has default settings to compress
images. This improves the speed of download
but diminishes the quality of the images.
If you wish to change this: On AOL 5, 6 or
7 for Microsoft Windows: This varies slightly
by AOL version, but go to Settings (or MyAOL),
then Preferences, then Internet Properties
WWW (or just www). On the resulting dialog
box, select the Web Graphics tab and disable
the "compress
graphics" checkbox. On AOL 5 for Macintosh
OS: Go to My AOL, then Preferences, then www.
In the Web Preferences section of the resulting
page, disable the checkbox to "use compressed
graphics." In each case, the change takes
place immediately, but you may not notice
this on pages you've already viewed. As you
select new pages of the site, you will see
the higher quality images.
Q: Whom should I contact if I'm having
site problems?
A: Send
us what difficulties you're having. Please include
as much detail as possible: what area of the
site you were in, as well as what browser
and computer platform you use.
Q: The printer-friendly version does
not show when I click the button.
A: Various sections on our site use
the web pop-up feature, which may be prohibited
by many pop-up blockers. If you are using
a pop-up blocker with your web browser, please
enable pop-ups for
chiefmarkets.com .

for our web site in each blocker before they
will actually work for you. |
